Finally paid a membership ! I will drive down with a car from Ninety Six, if you need help hauling important gear (stuff), let me know!
I have a New River (older w/o climashield ) and a Jarbidge w/ climashield
If you can only get one, get the New River . You will need some support lines in the center of the quilt !
I'm very happy...
I would suggest use one of the UQs and loosen the ends for climate control . You could hang the fan on the outside and breeze between the hammock and the quilt . Then use the sleeping bag as a top...
You sleep on a mattress,

If my feet are warm, the rest follows suit. At least you'll get what you want for Christmas !
Welcome from a rookie just up the road !
It's handy to be able to compare notes .
Some of us are not living in state yet, but I think a "Hangers Campground " is a great idea.
Keep this thread going. I hope to change my Latitude and Attitude by next spring.

I'll take it # 2.
May I suggest that you check out Arrowhead Equipment . I just ordered a pair of Flame Thrower boots. Warm feet are one of my priorities too. I have a Jarbidge and a New River quilt, so I feel Paul...

It's an addiction to always improve your position ( or comfort)
I like the Jarbidge in the summertime , but my New River (long) fits my explorer great.
Can't remember the name, but someone posted a picture of loops over the ridgeline with the side loops on the...
I'll take the 2 black overlays and the first aid bag.
I'll take it
I have a New River with Triangle Thingies over my ridgeline.
The ridgeline allows a lot of adjustment w/shock cords.
I haven't tried quilt clips, but it's an option to try.
I'll take the 20* Phoenix
The Jarbidge stuff sack is about 6" diameter and 12" long.
The answer is yes!
I have a Jarbidge and a New River !

Thanks to Ted's help, I got 2 color Whoopies with very quick service!
Looking at them, they are LSU colors, but they didn't have Crimson and Gray for WSU !

I'm in my early 60,s and just started hammock camping with my Harley. Not much hiking, but I enjoy the excitement of rediscovering camping!
Hang in there !!!
Growing old is inevitable
Growing up is optional !!!
I got a Jarbidge and a New River during the sale!
I got a pair of triangle thingies and they seem to work the best.
The shock cords are adjustable, so you can set the hang.
Tyvek is noisy, like wrinkling rice paper. I've used some as a groundmat and it is loud at night !
I'm heading to St Marie's and up the St Joe River today!
