+1 on the pad. I only use a foam pad and a sleeping bag, i'm in southern NH and went out a couple weekends ago and was plenty warm with my foam and a 20degree bag.
I just purchased a Kelty Noahs 12 my thoughts are that it was one of the last ones. i got mine from kittery trading post in kittery maine. might be worth checking to see if they have anymore
Just picked up a Kelty Noahs 12, after doing some research (which was well guided by the above posts!) I found that the kelty would give me the coverage I wanted at the price that most fit my budget....
thanks! i do seem to like the hennessy hex! Im considering sewing a few tiedown hooks onto my current setup though. I will keep the hex in my back pocket seems to be a pretty good price

yea was thinking about a uq thats why i wanted to get out there as soon as possible to test my warmth level. I actually woke up sweating last night and the temp. got down to 40 so thats a good sign...
