Not sure of Ecola SP but I have hung at Devil's Lake SP. Talked to the Ranger and they said no problem as long as you don't damage the trees.
I just order the stuff to make myself a climashield uq going to go for a 3/4 length. Have fun

Have fun on your trip. One thing that I like to do is bring some random thing to test. Make sure to have a tested back up but it is fun to test things out in the wild.
I saw the argon hammocks from Dutch and it is really tempting. However, I got some of the Wally World $1.50 stuff and really want to try making my own. Good luck on your project.
