My family has a place in Washington- let me know when you head out- black fly season is brutal starting in may sometime-but earlier than that its a beautiful area!!
Thats why I have a second hammock that has nothing attached to it- this is only used for the few winter hangs I've done- hopefully I'll get more time in the colder temps next year!!!
Just curious.......how much would your pack weigh for a full winter weekend trip-with daytime temps at 30+/- and night time temps in the upper teens and no chance of precipitation and calm winds if...

I would add a piece into the arm pit area instead of sewing the opening shut- If the opening is sewed shut I think it would greatly reduce the range of motion without pulling on the rest of the liner
