PT Reyes in Marin county we just did group hangs in sky camp #5 and #6. Those are the best for hangers in the park . Glen camp you might be able to hang but I am not sure.

that is probably true. i know mine don't pack down too small and are over a third of my total pack weight. so I leave them for ground/car camping.

I stand corrected the shipping weight of the total system per amazon is 12 pounds.

they are heavy, I sleep in the green all the time when not backpacking, no zipper mod. I believe the whole system of 2 bags and gortex bivy weigh in at roughly 6 pounds. not sure on individual...
