Burrow 50 weighs in at 10.5 oz. (Standard height, width and fill) Stuff sack is .5 oz. Can't wait to give it a test sleep.
I'd love to.. I have a friend headed down there for the weekend but coming home Sunday. I'm a 9-5er or I'd be there Monday night. I love those park and pack sites.
The walk in family sites were pretty good for hanging. 20 and 21 all the way in the back were awesome when we were there last year.
Super excited to have one of these incoming. I can hardly contain myself.
I couldn't find the proper weight for the 50 on the site.. But I have one coming soon.. I'll weigh it and get back.
I'm in Akron and have a couple of different hammock setups. My most used is the Warbonnet with whoopie slings.. also have an ENO setup.. there are more than a few of us in Akron that go out nearly...
Mine's on order.. quite excited. Removable top is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Closest places for back country camping would be Hocking Hills/Wayne National Forest or Allegheny National in Central PA. All are about a 3 hour drive from Lisbon.
The state parks are all hammock...
There isn't really anything nearby that allows dispersed camping.. but there are numerous State Parks in Eastern Ohio.. the closest two to that area are:
