One thing that seems off to me about pitching the 12 in a diamond configuration is if my math is right it would almost be 17ft across, right? Doesn't that make hanging your hammock a bit interesting...

I have one and pitched in a diamond it is plenty long. Also it packs down a whole lot smaller then the gigantic stuff sack that comes with it in case you were wondering :laugh:

It may just be me but $100 for a tarp, hammock, and good suspension seems like a pretty good price. Besides that I like the feeling that comes with knowing that I made it :shades:
