I am heading out west for an elk hunt in a couple of months and I need some additional funds so I am selling some of my gear. All prices include CONUS shipping via USPS Priority Mail. Payment via...
Randy is great and his hammocks are top notch!
Thanks for sharing Rob. Really enjoyed the video.
I think we are all addicted with dutchware!
Very nice. Do you know how much it ended up weighing?
Very nice. What are the weights of the packs?
I'm sure all mentioned are good but I vote for UGQ. Best quilt I have ever owned.
Welcome from the states!
Goo gone has worked for me.
Very nice. This would also provide a good water break drip line.
Welcome from tennessee. Many great options for suspension detailed with a search. I would also recommend Dutch gear.
The ultimate hang calculator is a great way to get close on the correct angle. Then you can make small adjustments to fit your liking.
Welcome from tennessee
I'm headed out west in a couple months as well and should like to know about bear canisters as well
Love the dutchbiners. Hell, I love everything from dutch
Another vote for mountain goats skins.
8 foot here as well with prusiks on tarp tie outs for adjustment
I started out with an ENO DN as well and it worked great for the price but get ready to spend more once you start reading the great reviews and ideas here.
This is the same way I guy out my tarp and it works great
Once you start you can't stop! Dutchware is amazing
I'm a fan of the outside method. I too ordered from dutch and made four 8 inch dogbones to attach. Works great and gives you much more space.
Another vote for Dutch buckles
Welcome from tennessee. I will be in Idaho on an archery elk hunt in September. Can't wait to hang in the Idaho wilderness.
Pretty awesome setups here. The jeep hang is great!
Welcome from Tennessee
Very nice. Thanks for sharing
Great idea. I'm going to give this a try
Superfly user here but I have heard good things about the tadpole. Congrats on your purchase
Very nice!
I would spend a little more and get a hammock from dutch
That is a great idea!
Like spaceman said, you will still need a tarp to stay dry. It does help to keep the wind off if you though on those chilly windy nights.
I felt the same way in my 11 ft dream hammock until I added additional shock cord.
I used slumberjack lone pine 0 degree bag a couple years ago on an elk hunt and I got cold. Have gone to a good 20 degree down TQ and I now stay much warmer. And it's much lighter.
Welcome from east TN!
I use an 11 foot tarp with my 11 foot dream hammock with no issues.
Dutch clips are made for the webbing. They work great. Easy on and off and very light.
Snap and cinch. More options for weather change.
Cant wait to hear a review and see some pictures.
We got hit pretty bad here in Knoxville but it is disappearing quickly and i would anticipate the trails being very accessible in the coming weeks as we are slated to be in the 60s next week.
I am going to need one of these in my collection.
6 inch zing-it dogbones here
The Thunderbird is the best hammock I have even been in. You wont be disappointed.
