Can I suggest that the thick cord/bungee/weed eater cord should be kept as straight as possible and not sneak through the gaps, otherwise the clews are pulled...

I measured the weight at 892g with the asym "triangles" and clews (comfortable and easy), up from 868g with standard (uncomfortable) suspension, and up from 846g with clews with extra extension shock...

I started with a rectangle and laid out the underquilt so an opposing corner touched each side. Then I sewed it on. Then, after discovering the quilt sagged in the middle, I roughly cut the "middle"...

I didn't use shock cord for my clew nettles. I used cheap elastic which I think was less than 1mm thick. Because my little quilt is quite light, I didn't need strong stuff. I will post exact weights...

I also thought this when I started, but my thin elastic Lark's heads would keep loosening off the split rings, so the weaving kept them in place. And the weaving looks cool.
