Berryman is closer by an hour. Are you wanting to stay at a campground close to the car or hike in and get off trail some where? I'm fine with either, but I'd prefer not to pay to camp though. For me...

I'll be there. Leaving early Friday morning at 4am or so (it's a 4-5 hour drive for me). What kind of venue change are ya thinking? I'd be willing to go somewhere else depending on the drive.

Nice. I made one like this for an old hammock I had and it worked great. Increased the temperature inside by quite a bit, lots of (frozen) condensation in the mornings though.

I plan on heading down Thursday to avoid having to get up at 3am on friday and start driving. I'm assuming there is a place to camp near the trailhead for the night?
