I just don't understand, making a nonresident purchase an annual permit is crazy IMHO, think about how many nonresidents just don't come to SC because of the annual purchase requirement.

She's probably right but smart is smart! Hunters are required to wear blaze orange during hunting season so it only makes sense to wear it if you're going to be in the woods. IMHO

Non resident fee is now $35.00 for an annual permit. They used to issue a 14 day permit for a much lower fee but no longer.
Resident fee is $10 for an annual permit.
