No. Maybe someone who knows what fabric Tim was using in the summer/fall of 2012 can chime in, though.
800 fill, 24 oz, smoke free, pets in the house but nowhere near the closet that it's been kept. Thanks for asking. I knew I was forgetting something.
***SOLD***This quilt is around 3 years old. I am the original owner. It has seen approximately 30 nights on the trail. I washed it, last month, and have spent 3 nights in it since that time. Tons of...

Aargh! Thought this was the weekend of the 17th. Sadly, I can't make. it. It's always been fun. So, have a great time, all! Bring lots o' firewood
Count me as "tentative". Lots on the plate, lately and I'll just have to play this one by ear..................
Check out Big Sur. Lots o' good trails!
No hot springs? j/k. Great write up. Thanks for sharing
Great trip. Thanks for sharing
Nice report. I worked at Windigo for two seasons, back in the day.
No pics?
My first attempt at the video thing. Shot with an older camera. But, please, check it out and tell me what you think.

Pics and video reviews, please. I love the idea and need to see more of it in action.
From the Amok Website: "Sleeping pad recommendations:
We recommend using a large inflatable pad (approximately 65 x 197 x 9 cm). This is to get the best possible sleep comfort as it stretches the...
Looking forward to it. Enjoy!
I have no big plan in place, except for the dates. Peak bagging, swimming, cross country hiking and hanging are my only goals. Definitely want to climb Mt. Price, agssiz and Pyramid. PM me if you...
I was mostly referring to the campgrounds before you hit the trail. I'm not familiar with them. I went last year and it seemed that all the drive in campgrounds were full, up and down the coast. I...
It's difficult to hang by the creek. But, it can be done. 44 Camp is great. Not many folks go up there. There are a couple bear boxes, outhouse and a picnic table. Plenty of trees as I recall. One...
Love mine. The cat cut makes for a little extra sag at the ends when the ridgeline is set. I find it to have a flat lay and I don't get swallowed up by the rest of the material on the sides.
Yep, multiple options. But, grey is listed as 1.6 .
Just re-read my answer to your first post. Hope I didn't sound snarky.
Both items have sold. Mods, please shut'r down. Thanks!
I included the links for that very purpose. But, thanks for bring that up. It's 1.6 and comes 58" wide. With loops and ridgeline the hammock weighs about 10oz.
Late night bump ;)
Thanks xtrm tj. Let me know if you didn't receive the tracking info.
Both sold pending payment. PMs forthcoming, fellas

I live in California. What was I thinking!? This place is a tinderbox most of the year.
So, as the title says, it's been used once to test it out. Burned great and had a quick boil time. Nice and...
Peter, here!
Thanks tall who attended. That was a blast! It's so comforting to know that I'm not alone in my hammock/gear obsession. Great variety of people, experience and conversation topics. Looking forward to...
Nope. They are MANDATORY for backcountry travel in Yosemite, unless you're traveling to campsites with bear lockers.
Here's a link to the YOSE food storage rules, regs and info.

I am Saturday, too. I was waiting until I knew for sure. Now, I know.
Bear canisters are mandatory in Yosemite. Bears aren't the problem. People are.
Please, only have food out when eating then make sure it's secured. Loksaks are a great idea. I worked there for two...
Wow! Cody, Thunder and Tala. This is going to be legendary!
Great news, thanks Brancher. I will definitely be getting one of these. I hope that Jared will also be coming with a fully retractable zip in/ zip out winter cover. I have his winter sock for my SL....
Glad to hear it, Meld. Let me be the first to fill up your styrofoam cup with some java :)
BTW, I was planning to bring some sharps and misc cooking gear if anyone wants to do some swapping.
I haven't been out all winter. Very much looking forward to this event. Thanks for putting it together, EAY
Silnylon is a bit more difficult to work with in ground mode as it stretches. Me? I use a Zpacks 11 footer.
He does have a ridgeline as stated in the OP. But, I had the same thing going on with my silnylon sock. Jared's right. I like to use a full nalgene to weight it down.
Looks like a great time. Thanks for putting the video together.
That's the key.
I hope I didn't come off as though it's hammocks vs ground. I'm just more comfortable w/ both options in my pack. The point was that you can get by in the summer Sierra with a pad.
Looks like you'll cut weight regardless, as long as you lose the tent. ;) I've got my system down to the point that I can go either way fairly easily. My hammock and suspension are about 14oz.s,...
Welcome! Summer in the Sierra does not require a underquilt, necessarily. I don't own one and use an inflatable (REI Flash) pad tucked inside a EE revX and do well to the high 30s. I haven't tested...
As a multi use piece of gear, you may want to explore Enlightened Equipment quilts which can be used both ways. Don't know about fit with the WBBB. Maybe someone else will chime in....
Wow! Is Katabatic using solid gold thread? Pricey stuff. But, I digress...
Maybe, just use some shock cord tied around the loops. My EE Revx has clips that clip to adjustable elastic cords. I ...
There's also..http://www.simplylightdesigns.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/22_26_56 an 11ft Tree Runner DL is around 55 bucks. You can add various suspension options, too. I'm not affiliated, just a fan.
Great review! Looking forward to more. Thanks, Voivalin!
Woohoo! Already planning for spring. I love it. I'll be there
