Welcome from Marietta! I have been to McKinney park many times and have never had an issue. Even had some rangers check out our setups.
Now if only the ridge creek would go on sale.:D
Wish i could make it. But travelling for Christmas. Hope you all have a great time!
This is a tough question and will vary for most. I myself loved my gathered end but always had a bit of a hard time falling asleep. Once I got my Ridgerunner I was in unconscious heaven. My best...
Welcome from Marietta.
Awesome! Any chance you'll be offering a bridge hammock version?
I can't make the 16th. But I'll be watching for February.
Interested as long as its a weekend I can attend.
Greetings from marietta!!
HG Phoenix fits great. So I would assume the Incubator should as well unless its wider.
Wish I could make it. But I'll be in TX. Have fun!
Welcome from Marietta.
Welcome from Marietta! Look out for the group hang in October.
I beleive GMcttr And Victoriaguy have it correct for my question. When you watch Fronkey's video he lines them up perfectly, Sews, cuts half of one frill so that he can then fold the longer end over...
Thanks VictoriaGuy! I just wanted to be sure I wasn't imagining things. As long as it won't cause any issues with the offset I have no problems.
I am getting ready to attempt my first tarp. But I have a question regarding the Ridge seam. When sewing the flat felled seam.
I watched Fronkey's excellent video. And he lined the ridge ends up...
Welcome from Marietta!
That is great news. I really wanted a Camino. I love panel loaders.
Welcome from Marietta!
I had issues with my BB as well. I had calf pain and shoulder squeeze. I moved to an 11 foot gathered end and it solved my problems. I also just recently got a ridge runner and I love it. No shoulder...
I sold my Blackbird. But I bought a ridgerunner so no remorse. Either way Warbonnet has me locked in :).
That's a good looking tarp.
Ahhhh gmcttr beat me to the answer.
The bug net should stow into a little sack on the inside of the foot end. There should then be ribbon on the sack as well as the end of the hammock itself to tie together to hold it in the sack. The...
Hey hiking dad. First, congrats on the new edition to the family! Second, would the measurements for that quilt fit a ridge runner as well?
That's awesome Squidbilly. Look forward to seeing that in person sometime.
I should be able to be there with this much advance notice. Although I hope to see everyone sooner than Oct :).
It's interesting. But I honestly wouldn't consider it for anything other than the back yard. I like the gear bag more.
I can probably do May. Just depends on the dates.
I had a great time, other than the key fiasco. Look forward to seeing you all again.
I don't have a bear canister, but From what I've read so far, the site sounds easy enough to get to we should be able to leave food in the cars. That should help a lot as well.
I've used my 40* 3/4 with a foam pad and gotten into the low 30's with ease. But I as well would love to hear from a more experienced Hanger about this.
Thanks 2 ply! I'll be up there Friday afternoon. Can't wait to meet everyone!
So to be clear. When I camped there I camped to the right of the drive right before the parking lot. There was a creek there. Is that the spot we are camping in? I never noticed other trails.
Glad to hear the chemo is helping. All the best lb.
Now I remember in one of Shugs Frozen butt hang video's a Hanger who had pockets on the bottom of his hammock. And he put in Down tubes for the insulation. I would imagine he could have different...
I just tried my pheonix on my ridge runner and it fit perfectly. No issues with the saddlebags at all.
All I did was stretch the shock cord over the spreader bar ends like I believe shug did in his...
Got my RR. For the life of me I can't find the blemish at all, even with a note as to what and where it is.. What a fantastic hammock. Exactly what I was hoping for.
Thank you Brandon!
I have a BIAS nano with a 11' and it works great. No issues at all.
I've got an extra hammock and a tarp that I'll probably bring with me and leave in the car just in case.
Welcome from Marietta!
I can do the 21- 23. I swear this time I will make it. May even bring a few others if there interested.
Just ordered a Blem RR. Can't wait to give it a try!
I'm in.
Grats for one year!!
Greetings From Marietta!
Welcome fellow Mariettan!
Really sorry to hear this news LB. I wish you all the best.
Welcome from Marietta!
Thanks for the awesome tutorial Hikingdad.
Any idea if Dutch will be carrying the bridge hardware on his site? Or only through Private contact?
Welcome from Marietta! As for what ripstop nylon to use, warbonnet has some good info.
