I'd love get a boonie hat with the Warbonnet logo.

I'd love get a boonie hat with the Warbonnet logo.
Happy Birthday Dutch!
I'm 6 foot tall (a great tweener height) and I've almost always found going up longer/larger is better.
I had an HH Expedition Classic and found I felt like I was coming out the ends.
so I went...
I know I know.....but my wife would want to kill me if I went for that......maybe next Black Friday sale.
It's the mamajamba.
This is my first outing with my XLC 1.1dbl. I loved it, very comfortable. I was overly obsessed with getting...
I actually used zip ties as opposed to stitching them as Dutch recommended.
I used them this past weekend and the zip ties worked perfectly.
Black --> for back (foot didn't rhyme :) )
I received my WBBB XLC 1.1 dbl December 20th, well this weekend, I'm finally getting the chance to try it out.
I'm so psyched!
Happy Birthday PapaSmurf!
It's a great year to turn 50!
I put mine on my computer case along with my backcountry.com (Goat) and NRS stickers. It's the best one though!
Thanks Bubba, you and Dutch gave me the same advice.
Before my trip next month, I will be doing some stitching.
Merry Christmas Dutch and Happy New Year. Have a great vacation.
I'm hoping Elf comes back stronger than before.
The clips did seem quite secure but no way do I want to lose my awesome Dutch bling.
I will be doing some stitching before my trip next month.
Thank you Dutch and everyone else who responded.
So instead of letting my kids wrap up my XLC 1.1dbl, I got it all out and set it up in the backyard attached to some fence posts.
It was really nice. The craftsmanship seems perfect. I was a...
Tried out my Dutch bling today in the backyard. Very very nice.
I have a question now, what is best practice for making sure I don't lose my Dutch clips?
Tarpflyz are attached to the tarp...
I'm 6 ft and I have to admit, it's a tweener size and I find that I'm usually much better off going for something longer. Being at the edge of the recommended height just doesn't seem to work for me...
just checked the USPS website and it says my WBBB XLC and Mamajamba has arrived in the local post office. Woohoo!!!
Getting my stuff tomorrow (Dec 20th). Although, I'll probably have my kids...
that is awesome.
(Although for my WBBB XLC that will be delivered tomorrow (Dec 20th), I had already purchased from Dutch the dutch clips and tarpz)
from a current Central Floridian (via too many places but Northern VA was my last stop before Central Florida)
I placed my order Friday morning before 10:00am ET.
Just received my shipping notice this morning! I'm like a kid, so excited!
I see it on the IPad too.
that will be one great setup for him! He should be thrilled.
I'm embarrassed to say I'm passing on my HH Expedition to my son while I'm getting a WBBB XLC 1.1 dbl (can't wait until it arrives)
just to add my thanks and wonderment in this thread as well...
I ordered black Friday and I got the package on Cyber Monday, cant believe it!
Thank you Dutch.
Can't wait to try the stuff out...
here we go:
1) ordered on 11/29/13
2) received shipping notice on 11/30/13
3) checked delivery status on 12/2/13 and the shipment is out for delivery 12/2/13
I can't wait for my Blackbird XLC 1.1Dbl and my Mamajamba tarp.
I have not seen either in person.
I know I took a big risk but so many people here cannot be wrong.
I ordered a wbbb XLC 1.1 double without cover yesterday. Now I'm wondering if I should have ordered with top cover.
I don't expect to do much cold weather camping. Usually only 1 or two a year...
I received a paypal and Warbonnet acknowledgement of the Order going through.
Ordered 11/29/13 -- check
Received shipping notice 11/30/13 -- Wow!!!
It does say that. However, in an email to me, Brandon relayed to me that people 5'10 and above get more comfort in the XLC. With that said, I've seen post from folks loving their regular BB who are...
At 5'11 you are at the cusp of needing to go to the longer XLC version.
Thank you Dutch!
ordered Dutch clips and Tarp Flyz!
just ordered my WBBB XLC 1.1 Double and Mamajamba tarp with yellow dyneema!!!!
can't wait to get it!
Thank you Brandon!
so excited....I hope Dutch is having a sale too!
(yes Dutch is having...
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Seems to be working now. 4:25pm EST
No it's it does not work for me but I can go directly to the blackbird page or the tarp page (via my history)
I'm so ready for the Black Friday sale. I've been waiting since the end of last month.
beautiful country! Thanks for posting
How much has it been used? Stock suspension?
at 6'0" and 205lbs, would there be any advantages going to the 1.1/1.9 DL XLC vs 1.1 DL XLC?
Trying to compare the HH fabric to the corresponding WBBB XLC wasn't as straight forward as I thought...
thanks all for the information.
I've contacted the manufacturer I think I'm going with.
Kind of alarmed me a bit when I saw the comparison, really made me question if 1.1 DL would be alright...
Hmm, good information.
Not I'm really unsure what to get in a new hammock.
I have a HH classic expedition. The fabric of the hammock body is not listed as rip stop nylon 1.0/1.1/1.8/etc etc, it is 210D Oxford nylon.
So my question is what does their fabric...
matty0C20, I know this isn't as fast as you want but I'll make my decision NLT end of day Sunday (presuming it is still available)
tempted, thinking very hard on this.
welcome to the forums!
from an Ex-Ohioan, current Floridian.
My understanding is that as long as the XLC has the top net or the top cover on, it will still have the shelf.
Thanks for the review. Nicely informative.
