I usually get a little quality hang time everyday.
I was there in June two years ago, lots of people.
Testing it out
Go to his website and chat, he is very helpful.
Welcome from Central Oklahoma!
Kind of short for my friends.
School Colors for both Universities #FF3300,#FFFFFF & #FF8000,#000000
Nice tarp! BTW the double 1/2" Beastee D on the ridge have worked fine for me.
Thanks for the heads-up.
Let us know how that new machine works
The comfort vs. width is somewhat subjective. I'm a little taller than you and I like my 11'X 5' hammock just fine. I have a 12' X 6' that I don't like as well. I think for your height you would...
Nice Job! I think she will like it. My wife was a little unsure of the hammock camping until I made her a set to use. She's still not ready for Winter or Summer camping but like's the Spring and Fall.
Well done. Have you examined the topquilts yet?
It's a rule, it shall be broken.
I wondered what happened to you. I've been using some of your videos to make stuff. Welcome Back!
I'd hate to be the guy underneath in the middle of the night.
Looks Good, Nicely done!
"Nudo de Alondra" I'll bet your a hoot to camp with
My understanding they are both good! I also have a tarp that has a standing seam with grosgrain with beastie d''s on the ends. Both are great tarps. Neither leak, two different kinds of ridgelines.
I made a tarp out Xenon last fall for the Texas hang. I'll Try to answer with my limited experience. 1. Both sides are the same. 2. I didn't do cat cuts, not needed. 3. The pretty side out. 4. I...
I made one last year and I went back and refurbished with knotty mods. You may like it without. But it had too much floppy material for me. It's still a work in progress for it to be as comfortable...
I did one out of Argon like your top drawing and it tightened the sides a little bit. The calf ridge was reduced and the hammock was comfortable. But I don't know if it was the Argon or the cut or...
Maybe I'm just OCD enough to want to start with a square end to work from. Just one less thing to do thanks Dutch.
Lots of people have bought them. Just a little heavy is the only complaint I've heard.
Dutchware or Ripstop by the roll both have really good Silpoly at reasonable prices.
I have a couple Hexon 1.6 hammocks, I really like them. I don't think the bugnet will be a problem compressing the underquilt
You may try v_allen He make Nice Bridge Hammocks for larger sized folks. I think email is [email protected] or PM him v_allen

These maybe what you want.
My most worry some time came in the high country of Colorado during a Thunderstorm. The lightning was popping trees all around us that night. Thunder was like a cannon going off. I didn't think I was...
[QUOTE=Caminante;1568244]You can get condensation on a tarp without being under it. I frequently set my tarp up in my backyard to sleep in 1-2 days a week and leave it up and find condensation under...
You may want to watch some of Shug's videos for all those things. Great explanations with the videos. BTW I use a Marlin Spike Hitch to attach huggers to whoopies.
Nice tarp! How did you do your ridge line?
Good Job Braves12!
Another good thing about Xenon
I wouldn't put cat cuts on sides. Not needed with Xenon. Lay it on your shop floor weight down corners. Some tape will stick, some won't. Mark with chalk, or sharpie. They have 4 foot metal straight...
I don't know if I'll ever will get all the tricks down. The synthetic underquilts aren't that difficult. The topquilts are maybe a little more difficult.
BTW what kind of axe is that?
Nice job! They have got that diagonal lay figured out. Looks like your about ready to make some quilts.
I've only made a few quilts with that insulation. Perhaps a more experienced gear maker will chime in. The temptation is to get to close to the edge. The closest to the edge I've work well was about...
Merry Christmas to y'all
Welcome central Oklahoma. Have a Merry Christmas!
Monday morning bump! Who doesn't want socks for Christmas?
Thanks Brian. I didn't know if it was literal or not.
Butter on the fish?
Thanks for your quick reply. I picked up a remnant with making a hat in mind, when shopping with my bride last Wednesday.
Did you download her adult pattern? I didn't know if it would be big enough.
Five pairs in original packaging. $90 Shipped CONUS These are regularly $20.95 pair
Heavy full-cushioning provides shock absorption, offers insulation against the elements, and supports under...
Hi from down the turnpike BTW I think you'll like that new hammock.
Thank you kind sir!
Same for me with the Xenon on the rain. (My wife has her name on it!)
A picture of them would be nice. I'm thinking about building a bridge hammock.
