I like my ENO DN. I've not had the opportunity to hang in anything longer though. I'm 6'0" and 210ish.
Looking around I saw someone mention taking a 40-60% hit on ENO resale. I'll go to the high side and pay 60% of retail shipped.
I'm a little late to the game, but welcome from Winston.
Anybody want to let me take a shot at an ENO Vulcan UQ? I'd be interested in a ENO Vesta TQ too, but not without the Vulcan.
I've had this same issue. I've had luck by deleting the EXIF data in an editing app. I've heard of other people rotating it and saving it again.
Welcome from Winston-Salem!
Quick work, I got them today. Hoping to fit them tomorrow.

Cutting up a mummy to make an under quilt.
To those using the groundhog minis, did you pick them over the regular groundhogs because they are shorter or weigh less? I think it's 1.5" and 3g difference.
I would not consider going out without some sort of tarp/fly. Hypothermia could be a real danger lying out all night in wet clothes. If weight is the concern and comfort isn't you might could get...
Yeah, I emailed her about it. I figure with the tarp name she will look at the dimensions and figure it out.
I'm not terribly happy that the ProFlyXL will not stuff, but has to be folded and rolled. Instead of getting a larger stuff sack that would accommodate it I have ordered a custom set of snake skins...
Welcome from Winston-Salem, NC.
I like my MSR Groundhogs for my fly.
Ok, sounds good. I know about the grass situation. The heat has not been kind to mine this year...or any year past. NC weather is rough on non-native grasses. Too hot in the summer and too cold in...
Cool! What did you use for the anchors? Is there a "best" angle to set the poles? I would guess halfway between vertical and 45 degrees would be best. Around 70 degrees? Is that right?
I'm still a total noob, but I'll stand by the recommendation of no more than 18". Its all good as long as you aren't dragging the ground.
Here is my first hang at Deep Creek.

Has anybody used the Mountain Goat skins for a ProFly XL? It's a 13 footer and I wonder if her 12' skins would pass muster or if I should get a custom quote.
Enter me in the giveaway. This is great of you!
If nothing else, take an emergency blanket with you. It's tiny and light, but will serve as a wind barrier underneath and you can put a pad in between if you have one or stuff it full of leaves or...
I'll have to see what I can do about getting to this. Wild ponies might just be the ammo needed to convince my better half to come hang out.
Welcome from Winston-Salem, NC!
I'm on the list now. #166 for NC
I've always liked hammocks, but have only had a few of the garden/pool style of rope net with spreader bar hammocks growing up. Those hip kids at church camp all had ENOs and my curiosity was piqued....

Hello from Winston-Salem!
Hey guys and gals, I'm Josh, aka jeepinjeepin, in Winston-Salem, NC. I'm new to this swinging from trees deal, but I like it. I bought an ENO DN, bug fly, and rain fly at REI-Asheville on my way up...
It's kinda self explanatory. I'm a Jeeper, a Jeep fan, and I like to go Jeepin. It's too expensive to break and fix though so I'll just keep jeepinjeepin down the road to the mountains or the beach...
