Pardon my ignorance, but what would be the benefits of a "winter" tarp? Would it help with keeping warmth within the camping hammock? :/ Sorry I'm a bit of a newbie..
Thanks
I was recommended this store by a friend who did purchase some nylon fabric from them. He used it for a tarp for his camping hammock too. He swears by it, but I didn't go for it purely for cost...
Everyday is a good day to be out in a garden hammock. I love rugging up, and talking a thermos of hot chocolate and just swinging. All the best for Christmas and the New Year guys.
I still use a bag too, but I've never really gone anywhere with my camping hammock which can test out how far a bag can go... Could a bag be used in adverse winter conditions? Or would all the other...
Hahaha camping hammock 24/7. Perhaps you could start making them as gifts for your entire extended family? That'll have you swaying for a loooong time heh heh heh
I like keeping my pack in the camping hammock with me. I use it under my knees, some folks like it, I am one of them. But I like @MikeM's tripod idea. I will definitely give it a go next time I have...
Oh my god.. Thanks @angrysparrow for the video and the images on the first page. You have single handedly convinced me to scour the 'net for some for my own garden hammock
I always thought that if you're going to send lots of heat to the head (where is it needed the most because of the need to keep the brain happy) then you would have the potential to lose the most...
I have done something similar to what @east_stringray suggests. I've sort of made a little hammock shelf kind of thing for the lower part of my legs. I have a Warbonnet too. I don't think this one...
Yea I'm in the same boat as @Raw. I was into a Clark Camping Hammock I had a while back, but a Warbonnet is like having your own room almost :/ It seems to solve your problem
@TineLouise That is a great post. Really good idea about making lots of "little trips" to let your packing style come naturally. I always dry pack my Camping Hammock, UQ, OQ and tarp. I use a WBBB...
I've come across this too in setting up my garden hammock. Thanks for asking @azoth. How far up the rope should we melt? Will it be stronger/make any difference if it is melted through 1/2", 1", etc?
I use a Warbonnet Blackbird. I've spent a few trips in a different camping hammock here and there but I can't get used to being so confined, you know? Another thing, it seems to me that the Warbonnet...
I personally use a Nest UQ. I've found it's a little tricky to find a good UQ for your Camping Hammock. I found this one online. The site says its 3 season suitable, but I've used it comfortably in...
