I use a sleeping bag as a top quilt but do not zip it up unless I get really chilled. I have a under quilt that I use in colder weather.

Lots of the trails in the Gorge are not marked clearly. Pay attention to your surroundings and were you are. Make sure you carry a compass with you and learn some of the landmarks before you go in...

Where me and my friend camp we usually stay close by to the camp unless we break camp and move somewhere else. If there one of us wants to walk around some the other stays at camp usually.

I got a zip up rain fly for my back pack so I put my back pack in the rain fly zip it up and place it on the ground under my hammock.
