Just for comparisons sake, my katadyn system weighs 13.9oz and the Gravity Works system weighs 12.7oz.

Ok, ok, you got me. I "did" just spring for one of those Platypus Gravity Works water filter kits. To possibly replace my Katadyn pump.
Got my last bit of gear for the trip.
