Are those S or J straps?
He moved on to Sector 8
Packing the pack is a few minutes. Going through my shelf stable food would take 10 minutes I would think. The longest part is compressing my quilts!
I see how the pad is very effective for the design. I would be interested in seeing side sleeping positions. I like to kick one elbow way out.
100% tent set up is faster. My buddy that I hike with most of the time is a tenter. We pull up and decide where to camp at. I hang my hammock and sit down for a spell or maybe lay back. He does all...
We will be there then but were looking more north. Possibly starting from bandy creek and doing a loop up that takes in the arches, charitt, and angel falls. Lots of leeway in our plan. Badwind said...
Got the call from the Doc. Under $30 and she is all fixed up and on her way back. They were awesome and made sure I had it back in plenty of time for my Big South Fork hike at the end of the month.
I believe REI carries the Aeros for $39
What is maude's crack?
Must see highlights for bsf? Im getting almost a week to tramp around the area later on this month. Trying to decide on a huge loop or a series of overnights. If you were going what would be your...

Its an easy xl fit. These shirts are made for hardcore summer use and are not athletic cut
Eco mesh shirt last generation
Unworn, new with the tags still on it
By all appearances a awesome summer shirt but I can't have anything touch the left side of my neck so this has to go....
I got a HG standard with doors from a forum member. I love it. I changed from a continuous ridge line to a fly set up so I can get my hammock nice and tight against the tarp. When the money allows I...
I love this hammock and this thread! Co-operation around the world, gotta love it!
Just when I head lighter and less complicated she comes along. :boggle:
If it was raining at the head end I would have to walk to the other end of the tarp to see if it was raining over there as...
Way to turn the negative into a positive. Getting everyone lined up facing the same direction is the hardest part of camping with friends.
Foot rest and push rope I think it was.
I have seen someone just use a line with nothing sewn on it.
Hi from Nashville. Former grand rapids citizens
You did exactly what you are supposed to do with it, get in and try it out!
As far as head left/right only you can determine that by continuing to use the hammock and see what feels better. I...
Well the sad part is his little brother was hanging out in the WOOT! Yukon I finally got around to hanging for him. One got blue, one got red. They normally share well but of course since only one...
Ya, he is only 80lbs. I'm amazed he did that much destruction in under 20 minutes. I had to count to 10 and ask what happened. Of course no one saw, heard, knew anything was wrong.
Just as a fyi...
I have zero idea how this happened. Yes I have been in contact with WB and we are getting it fixed. I know the plug was in when I switched over to the bug net. My kids were playing in the hammocks in...
Thanks for sharing that. Pretty awesome views
Ill take it
I agree. Just not sure if he wants to try and get the belt replacement. The pack works as is for my needs
If you guys dont figure it out I will take the pack as is.
Tell the kids you want to play a game called, "Egyptian Ruler." Give them palm fronds and enjoy
At some point I will go with camouflage for the reasons you guys listed. I sleep with the tarp rolled up as much as I can so I'm used to seeing around me and having moonlight in my face. Loving how...
Fireflies! When you are half asleep with a see through tarp and they start to light up ... distraction does not do it justice. At one point I woke up a little and thought someone was walking past...
Kids, sunshine and water, perfect mix. My youngest manages to find a lot of dirt and sticks as well
Mods please close. A friend needs to use the set up this summer so I need to close this.
No no and NO! Different ways to do stucco and all of them lead to a veneer. If you put that much compression on a post you will crush the veneer.
Man that looks like a good time. thanks for sharing
Living in Michigan I always had an under quilt. Now that I am down south I plan on using a diy 40* quilt.
I use the reflectix sit pad all the time.
If she threatens to stick a boot up ... well avoid that at all costs
I need to count to 100. I'm reading a lot of comments on some other media, wow people are mean.
"does this under quilt material smell like chloroform?"
Sarge has been all over this for a while now. I originally looked at the Mountain Serape from Hillpeoplegear.com. I still like the idea but way too expensive.
I hang a tarp if I have to. If I think there is a possibility of rain I would rather put the tarp up in its skins and wait for it to rain. I would much rather sit and look at the sky as I fall asleep.
Since I was in the park last weekend when this happened and we came across a huge bear along the roaring fork road I have been doing a lot of reading. Coming from Mi I have to be honest and say that...
Wow I feel bad for that poor kid. I am in the car right now returning from the pigeon forge area. Did the normal tourist stuff with the family. The kids and I took 3 bags of empty sport drink bottles...

I did find 4 mini S biners that can be used to hold back the doors, I will include those.
I have never been bitten through a hammock by a bug, that I know of. I don't understand why everyone is so concerned about it. I use a underquilt 99% of the time I am in my hammock and I treat them...
I hear Dutch will be the keynote speaker, "Bling and stakes, the new Titanium"
