I want XLC minus XL too!!!!!
Velkommen skal du være :)
Good choice :)
I love my 3 season Yeti, fits like a glove on all my hammocks
Great customer service at ukhammocks! I have the woodsman D.L and the woodsmanX, the woodsman is my favourite non bugnet hammock. When it comes to hammocks with bugnets, no hammock I have trived can...
Anyone tried these?
Seems like a fast and easy way to store guylines.

you will need an UQ or a pad
You can`t go wrong with the Blackbird!
Footbox
Shelf
And its the only hammock I have seen with back support when you use it as a chair
I use a continous loop with Dutch whoopie hook larks headed on the whipped end, then i attach the whoopie sling or my WB Buckle\straps to the hooks
I have a full lenght and a Yeti.
I think the Yeti is moore comfortable because on the full length the shock cord suspension is putting preasure on my feets.
With the Yeti I use a sit pad under my...
Ordered a woodsmanX single layer! Can't wait :)
I used to have my ridgeline under my tarp with mesh snakeskins on....until I camped in really bad weather (alot of rain)
I had water running down the ridgeline and dripped on my hammock.
Are we looking at the same website???
Woodsman X Double layer = 125GBP
Woodsman X Single layer =115GBP
From what I understand it has the same body as the woodsman ( a wery comfortable hammock by the way)
Mat sais in his video about the Woodsman X that
ridgeline organiser, whoopieslings, treestraps...
Is the Thermarest moore comfortable than a "foam" pad?
Do you use anything besides the Thermarest and Yeti?
The pad I use now is 32 inch long, it overlaps the yeti ofcourse
What about the knot Brandon uses on his buckle loops?
want them as small as possible because in my new suspension setup I want a continous loop with whoopie hook attached to the hammock, and then a continous loop with warbonnet buckles.
I want this...
Do you really need the "lock" ?
Bought some continous loops from whoopie sling.com and they had no "lock", only 2 burrys
so if I cut a 6" piece of amsteel and make a CL it will hold my weight?
How small can i make a continous loop?
Is there a minimum length on the burry`s?
I think my 1.5 single is my most comfortable hammock, maby because I made it myself:boggle:
Im worried about sleeping on the ground:scared:
The footbox on my TQ isnt long enough to fit the whole pad.
The Yeti goes from shoulders to knees and from knees to feet i have a pad.
How big is the pad you use with a Yeti size UQ?
82kilos
Just thinking that if one layer fails you are still hanging if your using a DL
never heard of that
Links, pictures, videos?
HI
My weight allows me to sleep in single layer hammocks but im not sure if I trust the one thin layer over time...
Really not sure if my next hammock is going to be a SL or DL.
Any thoughts on...
Did not wear socks
Is there other ways to avoid condesation? or should I use a full length UQ when the temps are just above freezing or lower?
Hi
Just came back from a 4 day hiking\fishing trip here in Norway.
The first nights the temp was around 46F but the last night it droped to 37F
When I woke up the morning after the coldest night I...
90 wide? Where did you buy your crinkle taffeta?
Arent classic brazilian hammocks made from cotton? What Do you think is most comfortable? Ripstop or ceinkle taffeta?
But if price didnt matter, would you still use the crincle taffeta?
Was the tablecloth you used made from cotton?
Silvr: is your hammock a DIY?
Do you have a link to the hammock you use?
My fyrst tought was to buy a WB Traveler 1.7 DBL for this purpose, but I have never slept in a hammock made of cotton before so im not sure if ripstop is the way to go..
Do you find that the...
Do you have a link?
what kind of Brazilian hammocks do people reccommend?
Hi
Sleeping in a hammock is so **** comfortable that Im thinking of replacing my bed with a hammock.
So far I have:

Ukhammocks = excellent service and quality products. Has anyone done a rewiev on the woodsman x? I think that will be my next hammock:)
Velkommen til forumet :)
Har hatt min Blackbird med på mange turer, du har gjort et godt valg der :)
What material do HF people recommend to make a hammock if weight is not an issue?
My question is: can i connect the hook to the spliced eye like i have done on the picture?
Cant see why this is a problem?
Just to be 100% sure:
This wont work??
Its a pic of the fixed eye

What material did you use?
Another question: Do I really need a hook or a ring to prevent water running into my hammock?
What other options are there? shoe lace?
Thanks guys :)
OK, Thanks!
I will use the rings for now to prevent water running into my hammock, and then I have to learn how to make my own whoopies so I can use my hooks.
Do you know about any good videos out...
When I orederd from whoopieslings.com I ordered some 7/64" Continuous Loops with SMC descending rings placed on too.
Do I have to splice them on the whoopies to use them?
Larks head, is that the same way the continous loop with buckles on my WBBB are connected?
Would love to go to a group hang, but I live in Norway and I havent heard of a group hang over here yet.
