Its a good place for links to things you think others might find useful. I like to put all my "DIY/How To" threads and videos in my signature for people who might be interested.

I agree that some have gotten out of control and I'll even admit mine being one of those, in the past. But for the most part, they do not bother me at all and I kind of enjoy them.
