I'll take the cloud burst. PM'd
I routinely hang in the wind, so to speak. You'll be fine. Stay warm. Bring Earplugs!
There are few trees here in Central Montana also. I have been using a Handy Hammock stand - works great, and you can just use one if you can find one tree. The big thing to deal with here is the...
I'll take the vest! P.M. 'd

Tadpole, hands down!
Money sent
I'll take it! PM on the way.
This is a great idea probably born from necessity, like being hit by a sudden thunderstorm. I like it. I bet it's fast to rig, too.
I have found that a smaller tarp is better most of the time. I use a tadpole, which is a very good tarp size. It is easier to set up, and most importantly to me it's quieter. It's always windy...
I'll take the #5 OD green chair. PM me your paypal info.
Thanks!
+1 on the Snipe - my most comfortable gathered end hammy.
I made a really nice top quilt from one of these, removed the zipper and hood. I think mine ended up about 25 oz.
I will take the Patagonia Capilene tops and bottoms.
I'll take the neoair for $65. Send me your paypal info.
Thanks!
Yesterday in Missoula, MT, was only the third time in recorded history that the low temperature for the day was as high as 70 degrees F.
I've had this same problem, due to trees being too far apart usually, and not being able to reach up 8 1/2' or so to wrap the tree straps. In the west there are many times no other choices. I'm now...
This was a very confusing thread
So is this still for sale?
In the middle of May, I took a five day float down the Mighty Mo, three remote island campsites all to myself. Caught a mess of catfish and smallmouth bass....
+1 on Glorietta Mesa! Ah, the lights of Santa Fe ...
As a lifelong boater, get a trailer. It's much, much easier all around and can be done by yourself. Attach the barrels for sure. Watch out for windy days and T-storms!
I'll take the Ohm 2.0! P.M. sent.
6 lb. hammock camp vs. 3500 lb. trailer camp vs. MPG to get there. Makes a big difference in the pocketbook, too.
I'll take the Quark, firesteels, monoculars, and waistpack!
Plus, a cozy makes freeze dried food edible.
You could make whoopie slings out of it, then attach your netless hammock, and Presto-ChangeO - a giant siege style slingshot!
Holy, moly, a Griz Beak for a Griz (U of M) fan?
I use Sgt. Rock's quilt hook method with a 30* Leighlo 1/2 UQ and a 50* 1/2 Climashield UQ. It's a really nice system. I like not having those cords above and around your foot area. I'm not sure...
I'll take it!
P.M. on the way.
Thanks,

Heck, we don't even got cockroaches, no fleas either!
I'll take a D stove, the Vargo ti, and the whitewater neoprene gloves
I've used Bonepiles idea on a single line suspension, 50 ft. of amsteel, and 6' tree straps with a marlin spike hitch. Rings are just outside my tarp, leaving room for tarp that hangs from soft...
I will take it. Pm sent.
I want to jump on the BMBH defense team! I love mines.
I have somewhat of a dilema. I leave a couple bags ready to go on river trips or car camping, everything but water, which would freeze in my garage where they're kept. I can toss them in the boat...
About the same as a poncho liner, same weight, same temps.
I love ucrs! I'm in!
Old time horse packers used to use a really thick hawser type rope, made into a big loop, but a little smaller than their tent, then drape the canvas floor on top of it. The rope served to insure...
Guess you're just gonna have to take it back to the Thrift Store!
I have one. A great tarp - perfect for my JRB BMBH, with the CF poles. I don't think they sell anymore, unfortunately.
Like northwoods hammos
Yes! I'm in!
Forgive my ignorance, but being a fisherman, are graphite fishing rod blanks considered "carbon fiber," or is it an entirely differrent material? Any body thought about using carbon fiber antenna...
Count this guy in!
2 lb. down bags can be found on ebay or similar. The great thing about down, it ages very well. (Unlike myself.)
I have one of these 9.5 x 10 tarps. It's great, tie outs everywhere, 16 oz. and under a hundred bucks. And they have sales. I think I only paid $75 for mine on sale. You can close the ends like...
I really lucked out here. I had a 20 year old North Face Blue Kazoo Long that weighed 2 lbs. 2 oz. I have used for backpacking and general duty, and I mean used hard, for 20 years. Probably 20...
I will take them! All four for $18.
Thanks!
