It is normal to have the bury unravel a little where the tail exits and in those cases it is still safe to use. But it appears you might have a bit of fraying going on, so I would replace them.
ohh I like!! I like the ease of adjusting compared to the Dutch Buckles.
That looks great! Very nice color. I have yet to tackle making a tarp, it's on the list.
As Always Thanks for checking out my trip report. Baxter and I have ran in to many rattlers in the woods, sometimes they warn us ahead of time others wait until we are almost on top of them....

I was at Ketchum run this weekend myself, I also had my Tyvek ground sheet along. Like others have said, it does soften up, and with more use I think the bright white fades a bit. Or maybe it's just...

Trying to resist the urge, but I'm giving in, I will take the OES.
Also check out "hiking the Endless Mountains" by Jeff Mitchell. He describes a lot of different hiking options and some of the best stuff to see. That book is worth every penny. It will go with me on...

If you look around you can find the mini grabber for $6 and change, but any pot grabber will work with the pan.

2.5oz climashield apex would probably work well for this. It is very easy to work with and is pretty thin. Look at the top quilt plans on diygearsupply.com that should help get you started.
Welcome from NEPA!
Here is a day hike my friend Dave and I did. We hiked over top Sullivan mountain using the Old Loggers path then used some old woods roads to make a nice loop. In this short video I got some good...

Here is a 12 mile loop I went on a couple of weeks ago in the Worlds End state park and Loyalsock state forest. I took 2 young up and coming backpackers, they sure made the trip fun and interesting....
I haven't done a trip report on the Black Forest Trail yet but have hiked it twice. It's an awesome trail with many spectacular views, you won't be disappointed.
Great trip report, you picked my 2 favorite campsites on the OLP. I have hiked that trail a couple of times and have no doubt I will do it again.
I received mine yesterday, they are pretty slick with the Dutchware logo on them. I plan on doing a side by side comparison video with these and the TATO biners
Number 95! only 5 left. I have the tato hammock biners and love them, I couldn't resist getting dutchware ones! Thanks a bunch Dutch for the good deal!

You might have better luck using UCRs, you may have a hard time releasing the tension on a whoopie when you pull it taught. Either way let us know how it works out!
That olive yellow really catches my eye! If I just didn't buy a new tarp I would be all over this.
Very nice looking hammock you got there. Looks like Jeremy did a great job!
