I was about to buy this tarp until i read about the guide gear camo tarp, awsome tarp
I've heard that a military poncho isnt big enough, at least on a HH.
i use one of neos camo tarps as well. a little heavier than a maccat but saved me around $70
bought a 24" walmart "egg crate pad today, trimmed the lenght, and it works good. Will have to do until i can buy a underquilt
looks like ill buy a spe or oware pad and save for a underquilt
my hennessy is set up in my basement on soppourt beams
oh.. well im in AF rotc in my school (i thought the avatar looked cool, and plan on joining when old enough) Seems like the oware pad would work. Thanks for the help
neo, i also bought one of those camo tarps . its a great tarp saved me like $70
you mean the office that tracks weather ect.?And maybe a large ridgerest for the pad , i guesse it doesnt really matter as loong as its wide enough.

I dont have the $$ for a underquilt, so whats a good pad that is at least 24" ?
