Welcome from West Michigan...formerly from Ballwin, MO - across da river!
I'll keep an eye on this thread. If it's not the weekend of Aug 15, I just might hafta return the favor, do a road trip and crash this party! :-)
Welcome, from West Michigan!
Looking for an UnderQuilts.com UQ shell to complete.
I have the down, just need the shell.
Prefer the 3-season Foyle that was being offerred., also wouldn't mind having the Barnaby TQ shell....
I sure could use this,,, count me in please! Thank you
Welcome neighbor, from Hudsonville !
Thanks, Grapenut. Was a fun project, and took me about 2 hours to measure, cut, and sew it. Will be a nice summer TQ to add to my bevy. LOL
Looks like it will be really warm--- nice job!
That. Looks. Really. Cool! Nicely done...
Looks really nice!!
Looks nice my friend!!! Well done :-)
Sheeeeesh,,,,, tough croud!! LOL
I made a PLTQ today. Kept it at 84" long, cut to 52" across the top and narrowed it down midway to 40". Made a 20" long footbox, sewn on 1 side, and used shock cord for the end to be able to vent it....
Nordhouse & MRT require hiking in. I'm always game for that, but I'm not bringing my cast iron dutch oven! :-)
Welcome from Hudsonville!!
Spectacular!! Thanks for sharing!
I'll take it
Because it is a cold weather sleeping bag, most Walmarts have taken them off the shelves for the summer. Probably look for it in the fall as it starts to get cooler.
The more members I meet from the HF community, the more I'm reminded of how many genuinely wonderful people there are in this world. This weekend proved to be no exception.
Welcome from Michigan
Thanks to all for showing up, sharing stories, experiences and great food, and the opportunity to make friends. Besides 'us locals', a Tip-O-the Hat to David14 for making the trip from WhitePigeon,...
Howdy, from Hudsonville!
My posse and I should be rolling in about 5:30-6:00pm.
The fee for reserving a site online is $8 for the reservation.
Won't deter me. More time for a nap :-)
I will be bringing a fair amount of wood for a campfire.
RSVP Update-- I'm now a +5.
Gosh, Hunter,, that's right fine of ya!! Thanks :-)
My experiences were in Spring-Summer-Fall, and sometimes in rainy weather conditions. It's not something I would want to do in the winter time.
I've hung 2 Warbonnet Blackbirds under 1 SuperFly tarp with no issues. Done this multiple times.
I reserved site 50. I'll be a +1 for sure, maybe +3. I'll plan to bring a couple arm loads of cut firewood, and probably some fixins for a nice Dutch oven dessert for Saturday night.
. . . far away . . .
Wildandfree- check out Graves Crossing SF campground or Pinney Bridge SF campground. These are only 11 miles EAST of Torch Lake, and easy access to Jordan Valley Pathway, if you want to do some...
Welcome from Hudsonville..
Sharp looking!! Nicely done...
Dutch Clips for me.
Sir Isaac Newton,
All pretty darn smart people.
Welcome from Hudsonville. Echo...echo...echo...
Of the 2 weekends, June 12-14 works best for me.

Welcome, from Hudsonville, MI!
Looks great!! Is the bug net sewn to the hem, all the way down, on both sides? Is there a strip of grosgrain on the front / lap edge, to hold it down?

Yup...that's it,,, thanks SquidBilly!!
