+1 on this. I have one suspension that I can use on my BIAS WW, Snipe, and an ENO. Super light and super simple!
I use Dutch's Ridgeline quilt hooks from http://www.outdoortrailgear.com/featured/dutchware-quilt-hooks/ They work great and dont weigh anything. No need to add a biener.
So far its all a test but I will let everyone know how it works out. We built it out of a few fleese blankets we had laying arround.

Thanks. It was a lot of fun. Everyone was uncomfertable because of the sand while I was safe in my tree!
I took a group of kids camping on a beach in Turkey. I made sure to get the best vantige point on top of a hill with a tree that has been pushed into an arch and had my first one tree hang!

Its a medium with a fully ajustable back pannel, and up to 40" hip belt. I live on a military base so shiping would be to an APO. Same as shiping anywhere in the states.

Thanks bud. I have a TQ made with it but wasnt sure if I should have some extra protection or not.
Im remaking my underquilt because the ripshop leaks my down. Im using Momentum 50 and am wondering if it needs to be treated and what would you use?
I rock the snipe and love it. It is big enough to sleep belly down if your into that. I do every now and then. I also team up with a camp stool and sit in it like a recliner. I like mine.
I have tryed all kinds of knives but have never been able to replace my Flash II. I have never worn one out. I have had 2 of them and just seem to lose them. As far as the requirements you have about...

72" x 55" are the dementions. but what im guessing is that I should double the number of baffles? Is that right. That would put a baffle at arround 4 1/2" appart. I can do that. thank you.
Im building a new TQ and just want to know what people thank about the number of baffles to use? My design has 8 right now at arround 9" apart. Is that enough for 2 1/2" baffles and 10 oz of 900 fp...
I cut an old easton stake, but you could also use an arrow shaft or maby some pvc. I didnt even put a string in it, i just leave it in the moring spike hitch.
Well welcome to the forum brother. Whatever you decide to do for bottom insulation, I hope you enjoy every night in the woods.
I couldn't find any information on why you would use netting for the baffles so I just used the 1.1. This is actualy the 2nd one I made. The first one was just a bit to small at the sholders, but...
The pro fly was my first tarp. Ive upgreaded to a superfly now, but, I carried that thing arround for a long time and it does work pretty well. In bad weather I would hang it low to my hammock and...
Thanks man. This is the second one ive made and it just seams like the nylon baffles are a lot easer to deal with than the netting, and its not that much heaver. The final product is onley 15 oz with...

This is a quick slide show of me making my UQ.
Let me know what you think!
I use this set up. The onley diffrence is that I also have the tarp flyz on a prussik as well. It makes for a whole lot of set up options.
I made my own UQ for about $50 to $60. The most expensive part was by far the down. Having never sewing before (and with my wifes help) it came out great. The best part is I was able to custom fit it...
Im in. Where do I sign!
