Well, the ones in the photo didn't even have a catch pin. I should have looked at them better, but the setup is all good now.
I got stories too, lol. I bought some 10,000# load welded 2" rings, they mount in manbaskets and JLG's for fall protection. Now I need some new polypro rope.
Fixed it. Heck, a wooden ring in there before held over 900 lbs. I thought it was plastic, but i could see where the rope crushed it a little. I figured maybe the biner would be ok, since it wouldn't...
