My favorite feature is the Weathershield on my Clark NX250. It's great when it's cold or damp out - keeps the temp about 10 degrees higher inside.

Price correction. The galvanized stand cost me $190, not $90. Oops! But you can save $35 by using 5-foot lengths instead of 6-foot. That way you'd only be purchasing three 10' sticks.
And the...
Another possible option, if the Turtledog stand's footprint is too big: put together a plumbing pipe stand. Not off-the-shelf, but simple to build. I had all the lengths cut and threaded at Home...
I tried the Z-Liner last summer and was not happy with it. It's a great idea, but has some serious design issues - primarily that the edges of the 6 pads do not overlap, so you get major cold spots...
I bought my NX250 last May. Only used it on two backpacking trips since then, but use it in the back yard several nights a week.
After just a couple of uses, my rods began to fray on the cut ends....
And don't forget your hot water bottle. Great for keeping toasty.

Another 2 cents. I'm also new to hanging, but have learned so much from the very friendly and helpful folks on this forum. I bought the 250 last May and went packing on Memorial Day weekend. Turned...
I'm really disappointed in GoLite's price hikes. I've been waiting several months for their new 3-season quilts to arrive. And the price on their web site has been listed at $150 for all those...
I've used it with a full length Thermarest Trail and also an old 3/4 Ridgerest. I liked it better with the Ridgerest - worked great at about 40* and very light weight. Since then I've purchased the...
Plus the 250 comes with a larger tarp included. I'm 6' and 190 and really love mine.

I just got an NX250 last month and am very impressed with it. First trip was a solo backpacking trip into an area that didn't realize that winter was supposed to be over.
I've tried various...
