Spain here :)
Finn my hammock buddy xDDD50796
Whoopies are less bulkier and lighter
Welcome from Spain to comfort :)
Take a look at primaloft one, synthetic insulation works when wet and very compressible (near than down) I'm going to make my UQ with this, I live in Mallorca an island in Mediterranean Sea not to...
Look at the tato ti stove ;)
Thought the same
Yep it's crazy!
First of all, if this video doesn't fit here please forgive me mods and move or erase it.
I was watching snow peak 700 ti reviews on YouTube and it appeared on suggested videos, just wanted to...
Welcome from Mallorca, Spain :)
Thanks for the video, great trip. I'm spanish from Mallorca, that terrain remembers me my home :)
Nice & clear, well done :)
You don't have to ;)
You're welcome :)
Hi Labrador I'm spanish but I live in Mallorca (Balearic Islands), so not hanged in mainland.
To start, let me inform you that wild camping is not allowed all over the country, you only can camp in...
Take a look at the AHE Shangri La :)
Just wanted to share a pic of my first DIY whoopie sling :)
I have whoopies in my both hammocks but never made one.
I had 12' of amsteel blue 7/64 at home and decided to make my own...
Happy Dutch day :D
Mat is great to deal with, I got the woodsman lite with whoopies and love it.
Enjoy your new kit!
I'm in. Thx in advance and congrats to the winners :)
This design is what I was looking for to mod this bag
Maybe adding a suspension and drawstrings in a larger "button holes" like an UQ will...
Will love to have a WL tadpole or WB edge moded like the black DIY tarp by shug :)
Just enough for me :)
Same problem here but from Spain. I looked at the rig (alpkit) but it's only in blue at this moment, the duo and the ID double sil tarp but I'm used to use a poncho tarp with minimum cover in late...
Awesome DIY equipment
Same here but with whoopie slings, climbing range biners into bishop bag. The freezer bag makes the difference on having a clean kit ;)
Welcome from Mallorca, Spain :)
Just a perfect spot to rest in the middle of the trail at 3000 feet the only trees we saw. A perfect post-apocalyptic day (12-22) my wife son and me. I was taking the pic not fulminated by the ray of...
Great, let me know how it works :)
No but I looked for it before you can check it here
For summer use I have a poncho tarp 1,4x2,4 m in diagonal pitch and get almost the same side coverage. Definetly...
Love it :D
In that case I'll pick a warbonnet big mamba jamba or hex tarp at ukhammocks reasonable light and priced with a good coverage. The mamba jamba also have a doors kit that convert it in a 4 season...
The main problem for the EU hangers is that we have a limited range of hammock gear for a reasonable price. Ukhammocks sells warbonnet but in terms of tarps actually we're very limited to few options.
In my opinion it's not enough, with 75 cm of coverage per side you'll be in trouble with splash and wind and finally will et wet. I'm in Spain which is not as rainy as Scotland and will only take the...
Hi I have the same hammock and 1,5x2,5 m is definetly small for the woodman lite. It's a 3 m long hammock with a ridge line at 83% so 2,49 m long. I think minimal size tarp for this hammock should be...
Here 10 feet of 1.75 zing it, strong, non stretch, high visibility and less bulk
I forgot both hammocks includes tree straps :)
Hope it helps
The woodsman does not come with whoopie slings, it comes with plain amsteel. If you want whoopie suspension you have to add whoopies to cart and tell Mat to add it.
So the woodsman X comes with...
Nice idea, will follow the thread :)
Get it SAT UKHammocks, Mat sells amsteel and the shipment costs will be cheaper for sure, buying in US from Europe could be very expensive because the taxes. Last time I bought 2 t-shirts (30 €) and...
+1 on checking Mat before at UKHammocks :)
That's absolutely lovely :)
Great hammock I have a woodsman lite and love it. The extra goodies of the X definitely will like you. Also Mat is great to deal with :)
Great piece of kit m8, love how tarp looks, awesome :)
With whoopie slings of course (sorry just forgot to write up there) :P
I just use climbing range biners, MSH and a carabiners seems more safe than toggles IMHO
Welcome from another noob from Spain, you'll surprise how cold & wet hammock camping can be done comfortably :)
Lovely modular design, great work mate :)
Just a sunset hammock nap near home :)38576
Nice hang in Greece mate, keep on the save path
