I don't know about you guys, but 1838 sure looks good to me. Then again, it's also mine & I'm a wee bit biased.
Can't wait to get it tomorrow & try it out this weekend.

Got my SilPro Deluxe today. Although I was wanting the coyote brown, I got the forest green, and that's OK! The only tarp I have for comparison is the Kammok Glider. It's probably not the best...
Congrats on hitting your goal!
I started with one, but wanted two. Bryan created a pledge for two for me, but now I see a level to buy three! Guess I'm going in for three now!
With the concern for portability, I wonder if a 2x2...
Once again, I'm on call that weekend. At least I got to spend a week at Dilley's Mill BSR hanging this year. I love this part of the state!
Hoping someone out there may have a Switchback or Handy Hammock they may want to get rid of. Was not so pleasantly surprised to go camping recently with no trees where I took my scouts. I want the SB...
Just got a Phoenix 40 & Burrow 50 to complete my set-up. Hopefully I'm all set for everything but really cold weather. Can't wait to try them out!!!
Dang, VATriker! I think I know just about where you popped the line. Definitely not a good place to get stuck, so having the EMT's so close was really great. On the bright side, it looks like it was...
Not going to be able to make it. I just don't trust my car right now to make the drive. Wheel bearings are way too noisy & I don't wanna risk it. I'll definitely be at the next one!!
Just found out I do in fact have a football game that Sunday, but if I'm on the road by noon, I should be OK. I'm relatively sure I'm not on call either, but I'll have to double check.
BFGMofo, I...
I'll have to see how my schedule looks, but I may at least drive down Saturday morning & meet you guys. I'm still waiting for my Kickstarter hammock, so spending the night might not even be an option...
Yeah, me too! When she's not around & I can fix whatever I did so she never knows. Happy wife, happy life!
What's the weight limit on these & when will they be available? I'm about 250, so I need something that's fat boy certified. This sounds like exactly what I'd need for winter camping with my Scout...
You poor soul! I hope you don't have to come & go during rush hour.
I'll have to check out Cantrells. I like riding the bike through that area & could easily hang there for a few hours or even the...
Yep, as much as I hate to admit it, I'm middle aged too. Probably the biggest juvenile you'll ever meet though! I've been thinking about taking my son up to Dolly Sods for a weekend hike deep into...
I love going to Mo-Town. Got a few friends up there now with kids in scouts & with any luck might be able to get them into hammocks too.
Life is rough on the ol knees, that's for sure! The particular cot I was using literally just kept me off the ground, & it was a rough 15 feet to the picnic table just to sit normal. I'm really glad...
I noticed in pics that some guys were doing that & figured it was due to keeping stress off the channel. Makes sense!
I actually have a Kammok that should be here soon from their last Kickstarter...
Thanks for the warm welcome guys! HamMike, I'm always passing by Fairmont & sometimes go to the hospital there. It's hard to explain WV to folks, but once they visit, they understand. Folks always...
Thanks WV, I'll definitely do that! I don't get down there as much as I'd like, but I love it when I do get to travel through. I'm still learning, but I'm getting there.
Hopefully, our Troop will...
Hey guys, I've been lurking around here for a good while getting ideas & gathering info. Spent a week with my son on an UL cot at Scout camp in a tent pitched inside one the shelters at the camp. I...
