Unfortunately I won't be able to make it. I hope to see everyone at the fall hang.

It's on my calendar, about 90% sure I'll make it.

Haven't seen it posted yet and can't remember who shot it but can I get a copy of the group photo?
I'm such a social butterfly.
Just a reminder, anyone that has a stove top percolator please bring it along. I'm not sure how many we'll have without TZ coming.
We may have to cut Missy's ration so there is enough for everyone.
I'm bringing 6 lbs that I roasted and ground today.
I don't do public speaking but I could assist. Also I can bring some equipment to demo that could go in the raffle later, a 6 cup Chemex and an Aeropress.
I see @Dogger signed up, does that mean there will delicious world famous cinnamon buns?
I wasn't too keen on the t-shirt until I saw is was available in orange, then I ordered one.
Only 8 have been ordered and there is only 6 days to meet the minimum of 24 orders. Anyone that wants...
Are we talking a small logo on the front left chest or a giant back piece?
Wouldn't miss it.
Pretty sure it was Camp Casey.
QUINCY! QUINCY! QUINCY! ;)
Does anyone remember how much ground coffee we went through last year? I remember we had a 2lb bag left that went in at the end of the raffle but I don't remember if I brought 6,8 or 10 lbs. Like...
Hello from Waterloo. It's a fun hobby that can fill your days and empty your wallet if you let it. Enjoy!
Greetings from Waterloo. You should consider going to the Michigan hang on Thanksgiving, it's a bit of a drive but great group of people and you'll see every possible gear setup all in one place....
I don't remember it, maybe you had extra helpings and there wasn't enough. [emoji6]
I think it dropped just below freezing on the Thursday night but it warmed up a little each day through the weekend.
I bought 1, sorry.
I'll be there with lots of coffee!!
Here the trip report from last year.

Welcome from another Ontario hanger. You should definitely consider the Michigan hang this fall. It hasn't been posted yet but it's a great bunch of hangers and a great time will be had guaranteed.
I never find deals at thrift stores. Not until today anyway. Picked up this Kenmore 158.19471 for $10, with the case and pedal but no accessories or manual. It's very clean and ran smooth with a few...
Thanks to everyone who made the weekend possible, Paul and Missy for organizing it, Gallo and Skiwag for manning the stoves, TZ for keeping the coffee flowing, and everyone who contributed to the...
I started with a hot air popcorn popper then an I-Roast-2 for 3 years. Now I'm cranking out 15 lbs at a time, miss the old days of just doing small batches.
The coffee is ready.

Hope this works, I've never posted a video before.
Got mine, just have to change the 3 to a 4. :shades:

Perfect weather to test out my brand new UGQ Ambush UQ!
I'm planning on coming up Thursday. Same site as last year?
I know we're still 3 weeks out but I'm putting together a shopping list. Are we going to have an over-abundance of eggs again this year or should I plan on buying the eggs I need for my recipes? I...
Got mine on Friday, I can't be so anonymous at the MI Hang now. :shades:

Ordered! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
Yes I'm bringing coffee, I'll roast it the week before then grind and package the day before. I missed filling it in on the spreadsheet, sorry it's done now.
I'm bringing a large insulated coffee...
Paul, I'm still not seeing anything on the web site. Can you PM me pricing on a 20*F when you get back to the shop? I think I might need one for the Michigan hang, just have to convince the banker.
...
I have to admit I haven't been camping since the hang last year and have been getting the itch. I also haven't been on the forum much over the past year but I sure got excited when I checked and...
I just plug the destination into the GPS and follow it blindly. It took me off the freeway once into a sketchy neighborhood in Buffalo but I eventually got where I needed to go.
Thanks, it looks like there are some good options in Hastings.
Can someone recommend a place to shop between Lansing and the park that has locally sourced produce and meat? It doesn't have to be organic but if the meat is drug and hormone free that would be a...
Can never have too much ukulele. :D
That's my understanding, any Michigan State park.
It's $30 a year, which I think is reasonable since I don't pay taxes in the state. There will be another hang this year so I can get my money's worth, right? :D Actually I tried to buy a passport on...
My mother gave this to me a few years before she passed away. Now that I'm into hammocks I figure it's time to learn to use it. Still working on the right combination of thread, tension and needle...
It's always more fun with company, looking forward to it.
I've been reading some good reviews of the mountain bike trails at the park. I'm kind of old and slow and haven't been on my bike for over a year, will there be anyone else of similar inability?
My only attempt at cowboy coffee resulted in a mouthful of grounds, I bow to others expertise.
I've been creeping this thread since it was first posted and I guess it's time for me to commit. Or be committed or something. I'm a life long camper but always a ground dweller. I caught the hammock...
I've been researching a DIY hammock and every time I Google something I end up here so I decided to sign up and check things out. My interest in hammocks happened by accident when I went on a canoe...
Name is Dave, born in the Yukon. Clever, eh?
