Love the idea and it sounds good, but as a visual learner I need pics!!! Please?
You don't want to get into that mess. It's worth it to let someone else do the anodizing.
Hehe that is pretty funny
Good looking family sir. And way to start'em off early.
You all are late to the party I've been putting on a nice dress and lipstick when I sew for years. Sheesh newbies.
What a cool little bit of innovation. I'm going to need to pick up a pack and play with these some.
What is the diameter of the hole thru the middle, looked like a 5/16 bolt thru it but...
Gotta customize, HYOH
That is fantastic. Nice work.
I know general thought for tree huggers is 1.5-2 inches, what are thoughts about muletape? It seems like it would potentially be more harmful to the cambium? Just honest curiosity, not trying to...
Sweet man thanks. I've been practicing with my surprise box from ripstopbytheroll, trying to get my injector dialed in.
So working in Emergency Medicine for the past 6 or so years, I've seen alot, including a guy who got his finger in a commercial machine. Come to think of it, it was in Lancaster PA, Dutch was that...
I grew up in MA and hiking the Presidentials and it takes me right back. Now that I live here in AK I try to tell folks about some of the conditions on Washington especially, and they don't want to...
"commando style" Like it ;).
As far as your question I'll defer to some of the more seasoned hangers.
With that kind of loft and 30's you might need to vent it.
How many hours do you think you have into it? Looks great man.
I had a similar cloth, my Mom made for my legos as a kid, open it up and play, and then just gather all the cords and hang it up, it was like 48" diameter. Just made a couple for my boys and their...
I'm in. Thanks so much.
Dude that was a good laugh
Been thinking the same with PLUQ and fleece bag liner for a TQ.
Got to say the "cool" temps you mention are hilarious. I keep my house at 63 all winter and warm it up to 65-66 when we have...
I'm still in planning phase as well. My plan was with this design to use the tie outs as my quilt hook attachment points, and then up onto the suspension on either end. My plan is to do a full...
This is a copy of a link I got here on the site: Hennessy UQ
There was a post I'm having a hard time finding with someone sewing baffles, who was using clothes pins to bunch up and hold the top layer of nylon rolled back out of the way leaving only the baffle...
So just went to clickty-click on the user map and it link to a scout troop map now?? Any thoughts from the mods with the google maps-fu?
Come on gotta fill us in on where you got it, I'm digging this pattern.

I do like the idea of these and have been contemplating trying my hand at the HoundDog, set up with quilt.
Getting close to off limits for family friendly but still funny
Welcome ma'am
And these guys: http://questoutfitters.com/zippers.htm#MAKE YOUR OWN ZIPPERS
Sweet little rig you got there.
Fox, i know I'm late to the thread. My only concern for hunting especially turkey would be hanging from a tripod, and not having a solid backstop. Have had close calls with yahoos, stalking my...
Hey your buddy is looking a little pale
You could start it off for him. Splice a eye on one end and leave it long. Then explain the idea of tweaking ridge line length to improve the hang and let him play. Then if he wants it he will...
Yes this^^.
Once again Dutch meets the need within hours...He must really be whipping those Elves.
Nice work with the suspension swap out, did you play with adding a ridge line to this? Just curious about how comfy the hang was?
Nice work.
I run into the same issue, as a covering provider i sit and wait for patients to show up needing to be seen so always have a project or 2 sitting in my desk drawer. Love the comments...
Gorgeous, Got to be proud of that
Congrats on the new venture, been thinking about all you folks in the NE. Here I am in AK and we don't have any snow yet :) go figure
+1 on this.
Come on Dutch.
I keep wanting to call them Double Dutch Hooks.
Ironfish, thanks so much for the info I just knew there was someone who would be able to answer me.
So wasn't sure if this would be the correct location for this post, Mod's move it as you see fit.
Was looking at the down comforter that has been on my bed for ~10 years baffles are crap, and down...
Just out of curiosity in what context would you see yourself wanting to remove the ridge line, while the hammock is hanging?
Now Dutch that's just playing dirty.
You ought to change your credit card machine look like a jewelry store. Then when all our wives are asking why we keep spending all this money on...
Dutch, makes me wish I was still living in Lancaster County, just to able to be around you and soak up some of this ingenuity.
That is pretty slick, I would shove all that in a go bag, and use it in a pinch for overnights as well.
I'll have to keep an eye out for that next round
I would locate the RL to the running leg of your CL. This way is is set and doesn't need to be slung or adjusted every time you hang it simplifies the hang. if you are still tweaking your RL...
If you take a look in the DIY section I think 2QZQ, have thrown in some comments along the line about what they are using. Just troll thru. Been thinking about doing the same myself.
