How well would adding sections of velcro every couple of inches work? Keep it open then when it is time to go to bed you could velcro the two doors together than stake it down to one stake if it is...

Thanks kwiktech! Will definitely be trying it out when I get a superfly!
Wow I really like that method and how you have the poles resting on the RL instead of the tarp itself. I'm having difficulty picturing the stingerz end, is the line running through the stinger which...

what is the length of the Hudson River?
It seems like you have a good start and doing everything correct. Have you tried a 30 degree angle on the suspension? Other than that I would tweak sag to see if that helps. You also might of whipped...
Idk if this has been reported but the pif thread is now visible on tapatalk.
I can second thinking about a purchase too long. Also, this has happened to me as a noob, hitting the wall of discouragement. If you go out and your first hang is not pleasant don't give up, ask...

Would it hurt to wash a hammock without removing wiping in this case para cord? Idk if washing it would degrade its strength or not.
I use one of those big rubber feeling drybags that you roll the top down then snap with a buckle, I would be fairly confident in submerging it with gear but for how long is the concern. Tarp,...

No matter how hard someone tries breeding tents with hammocks is not possible in a practical sense. This would be fun in the backyard but so would a whole bunch of hammocks for that price.

Received my package yesterday, have to say this is a mighty fine first UQ! :)
ENO is like the walmart of hammocks, they're everywhere.
Luckily I was able to return it. :)
I went to check the receipt I was charged for the 8ft instead of 10.5. When I returned it I noticed I had chosen sport nylon instead of ripstop so good...
I think I just found the issue. I went to measure the length of ripstop this morning to double check it was 10.5ft well it was only 8ft and some change. No wonder it felt so tiny.
Thanks for the help. Mine is 59" wide and I think I am going to try sewn channels to see if I can get a better lay.
I tried searching this but have come up short so I have decided to ask. I have been on a DIY hammock spree to find one I can get comfortable in. I stopped by my local fabric store and picked up some...
