Rope diameter?
The main options are amsteel blue and dynaglide, which I don't believe are available at REI or Home Depot. You can order it from reddenmarine or westmarine. 25 feet would get you two whoopies.

Or you could get the Hennessy Snakeskins....
Yup, 1.9
144inches x 60 inches = 8640 sq in
8640 sq in = 6.666 sq yd
.8lb = 12.8oz
12.8/6.666=1.920 oz/sq yd
14.8oz for a 100in 1.9 ripstop hammock
16.9oz for a 121in 1.9 ripstop hammock
29.9oz for a 132x90in tablecloth hammock
All with whoopies.

I picked up an Easton 2216 from ****'s and has worked fine for me.
I'll take 5.

I have 2 sets for the hammock and tarp kept separate, tarp set being made of mesh. Lets me tie on my wet tarp onto the outside of my pack. If you kept the asym tarp the hammock comes with one set of...
No issue with mine, but it should be sealed with tape from the factory.
Looking at my whoopie with 9 inches from the fixed eye to the contrictor, I don't think there is enough length.
From what I understand the difference for the whoopie is for the tarp attachments, so the extra length would still be needed if you hang the tarp off them.
That's how I attached mine.
All my apprehension about tying the knot correctly went straight out the window as soon as I took off the cover.
Spreadsheet I used when making my whoopies and ridgeline.

Seems it's their new way of constructing the hammocks. Same setup on my Expedition.
It seems Hennessy changed up their construction? My Expedition Zip came with a loop of webbing on the end. Just attached the whoopies with a larks head.
