Med man: last summer I did the GRT. Cell service has improved. I'm using Verizon. The southern end & Anthony was good. Marlinton area improved. Cass finally had service.

I've been looking at their websites and only see one camping spot along the trail (not the commercial rv parks).

A co-worker & I are looking at doing Katy right after the college lets out. We are interested in going both ways - going WB then returning. We may run into all of you for the return trip if all goes...
