Hammocks in Australia/New Zealand?
I grew up in Melbourne; from 4-28 yo and now live in Brisbane. Anyway, it's true to say that Melbourne and the State of Victoria is indeed Hammock Heaven. There are so many diverse and unique environments to explore. If anything you are really spoilt for choice. Close by you have the 'Dandenongs' mountain range and the Yarra Valley. Further afield you have World Class National Parks like the Great Ocean Road, the Grampians, the Victorian High Country, Wilsons Promentory. You can do one of the worlds great canoe trips down the Mighty Murray River, The Snowies, Eildon Weir, Lakes Entrance.............
And I haven't scratched the surface of all the places to see. These are just the main well known tourist spots that you can easily Google.
Have no fear, if you seek unbelievably stunning country, you will not be disappointed.
If you get a chance to go visit Tassie- well you'll take your adventure another few pegs up the ladder. You would literally need several lifetimes to see it all....
