If you really want to try a bridge, you can always switch-out the spreader bars it comes with that are designed with hiking (lightweight) in mind, for something beefier. I'm sure one of the bridge-experts will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the spreader bars are the weak link on a bridge design. So switching them for something heavier duty should also increase the weight limits.
I was thinking it would be stitching along the length.
If all I've got to do is get some heavy bars, could it do 300lbs??
