I use a Hennessy Expedition rated to 250 and have never had any problems, even when I was in the 260 range. Would the 1.7 oz Warbonnet Blackbird with with the webbing cinch system be safe at that weight?
BP, Do not worry. I have the 1.7 dbl, and I have no problems. I weigh 252 +/- 5 lbs. I have not noticed anything to worry about.
I have used the HH UL EXP for a couple of years, and used BPULA at 220 lbs.
Brandon suggested the 1.7 dbl to limit streching of the fabric.
