Thanks for the invitation with the 4x4 (so necessary to reach a lot of hiking spots down there) but next set of vacation days in winter I'm thinking about taking the hammock to a tropical Latin American country for some nature sightin' and hanging. I've been going down there to AZ annually for the last 8 years. He needs to come up here for once; it's his turn! His daughter/my niece has never seen real
snow. We got snow up the ying-yang at Mt Baker in the winter. They need to see that freak of nature, like a 10 foot snowpack in June.
BTW, Sedona & Grand Wash Cliffs TR
. Warning: no hanging, just hiking but a fair amount of photos of an unusual (= interesting & adventurous) dayhike.
That's not doing much to salvage GM's reputation, is it?
They should take some bailout $ and make better fuel pumps. Ha ha hah ha.
I'm real familiar with car camping in that Mingus Mtn/Jerome vicinity- I love that area!
Sounds like you've gotten around quite a bit. Good for you. That's living!!
