yeah, the line is supposed to go over the top of the footbox (did i forget the directions again). it should not be under your calves. the length of the shockcord is correct, it keeps it from moveing around on you. you'll have to tug on the zipper side of the quilt once your situated, pull the edge up 6" or so above your shoulder, this should get it out of the way of your head.
also make sure the head edge of the quilt is even with the top of your shoulders, and that the head end is at the head end and the foot end is at the foot end of course

Where do the cord ends of your yeti attach? Are you slipping them up against the fabric ball ends or attaching with mini biners?
