It may be different, but I noticed this on mine and my bivy. If the end holes are too far down, away from the rings, there is a large enough gap from the hammock suspension rope to the ridgeline that it stresses the seams in the bag. Basically the gap is bigger than the hole.
I fix this by keeping the bag pulled toward the rings. I am thinking about tieing a line from the bivy to the rings to keep it from sliding away.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?
