I think, though I'm not at home to confirm by looking at it, you have to remember to attach the ridgeline of the BB into the new larkshead when attaching the whoopie.
Actually this made me realize how much I don't know about whoopies. Is there any adjustablility? It seems a pretty static suspension method unless the whoopie length can somehow be adjusted.
