I'm not sure how the folding-in-half thing ensures a square edge, either?
I wonder....I have a very long contractors bubble level.
If I were to fold the fabric directly in half and then use the level until the bubble was centered then wouldn't that indicate that it is a perfectly straight line?
BTW...I have 2 cutting boards and a roller cutter. I would NEVER imagine trying to use just scissors on some of the projects I have undertaken.
I am thinking this weekend I am going to by some plywood for a workbench in my shop.
