I have actually thought of going to weaker attachment points for my tarp with the thought that I would prefer my less than $3.00 plastic hook "thingy" to fail than my over $100.00 Tarp to get a tear. And actually I don't know for sure that my sil nylon tarp can stand 10 lbs pull. BUT I know that the cords I use to tie my tarp in place can stand MUCH more than 10 lbs, so, , , , , , , , ,
