Things I learned...
Made it through another night. Learned a few things for me and my comfort.
1) Rectanglular sleeping bag - Not good in a gathered end hammock. Warm yes, Easy NO. Although, I did like being able to pull the hood over my head. Ready for my new Burrow to arrive.
2)Pillow - Don't need it. More trouble than its worth for me. It's out of the camp box.
3) Underquilt - toasty warm. It did move more than I would like. Kept waking up to fiddle with it. I sleep head right feepulling way up t left. It kept rotating way up over my right shoulder.
4) Hammock sag - First night in my new WB Traveler. Had to try to adjust it in the middle of the night. Had pressure from the hammock under my right knee. I also kept sliding toward the foot end.
5) You need less clothes than you think. My UQ and bag are both 20 deg. Ended up having to take a couple layers off my upper body. Low temp for the night was 32deg. Did not sleep well at all from 11p - 3a.
Between the sleeping bag falling the side, UQ shifting, and nature calls, it was not good. 3a - 8a was much better. Guess I finally got comfortable or just really tired!
