anyway, I was wondering what line is best used for the different needs of a hammock setup:

tieouts on the tarp/ hammock (pseudo HH clone)
suspension/ ridgeline for hammock/ tarp
shock cord for tieouts (tarp tensioners)
I read somewhere that you could use the spectra line for the whipping, but I was also considering the drawcord (for my quilts and weather shields).
For the tieouts I was considering speer no tangle and some shockcord from OWF or other outdoors place. For the Spectra, I am deciding between Amsteel or spyderline.
SO what should I get for my line, and how much of it? Thanks!
for whipping the hammock i use a very small accessory cord from the climbing section (2mm or less).
the line from speer hammocks would be just fine too. that's what i use on my tarps & for draw strings... very light & plenty strong.
the shock cord is what i use for my tarp tensioners.
youngblood recently added an explanation on <http://firstname.lastname@example.org> on how to do that.
it's found under files/"youngblood's miscellaneous stuff" along w/ lots of other good stuff...
