I just had to build one myself. It's built like a tank and weighs a ton though. . . I overbuilt it and had to use a golf cart to tow (drag) it from the shop up to the yard where it is currently being used.
I fixed the reported flexing problem mentioned earlier in this thread by using 2"x6"x8' boards for the bottom rails, and the angled posts at each end are a full 8' long. The length between the rings is 17 feet. The height to the angled post rings is 6 feet from the ground. The angled post cross braces are 6 feet long. The widest cross brace on the bottom is the middle one coming in at 6 feet. The two cross braces close to each end are the standard 4 feet in length ones mentioned in the plan.
Setting it up in the yard and getting a tarp and hammock rigged up on it got me really motivated to make up a poncho liner under quilt, which I did as well.
