I think I will try the torch method of curing tomorrow. I laid them on the blacktop for around 5 hours today in 92 degree weather and believe it or not they do seem a little more rigid. I had to spray paint the ridgepole OD green though to somewhat match, couldn't take the metal/bamboo look
The only problem I had with trial #2 is the hammock suspension would slide inward creating alot of slack in the ridgeline. I think if I need to lash the ridgepole better which I think will cure that.
