How could you ever leave the woods of Northern Minnesota? Are you back in god's country? I have my Clark all warmed up for the fishing opener in the BWCA in May.

The main (only) advantage to Illinois with respect to hammocking is that we get some pretty stiff winds that are usefulfor testing wind-breaking gear.
I fondly remember many trips into the BWCA in my college years but never hanging. I'll just have to go back and do it that way.
